My mother's neighbor used to make this for special events. It is incredibly tasty and very easy. It looks pretty sprinkled with a little powdered sugar! This needs to sit overnight and cook time does not reflect this.

We enjoyed this very much. My husband said the recipe is better without syrop. You can taste the Grand Marnier a bit more that way. Very nice.

Very nice change of pace for French Toast. I expected to taste the Grand Marnier more, it wasn't as pronounced as you would expect from the 2 Tbsp in the batter. Next time, I might also flavor some syruo with the Grand Marnier and heat it together to serve alongside. Still, a nice way to serve French Toast, especially if you have overnight guests.

We loved this recipe just the way it was! I didn't change a thing, and I served it with our home made Maple Syrup, it was gone bfore I knew it, and I should have made more! Thanks for sharing!

A great lazy Sunday morning breakfast! I scaled the recipe in half, used egg bread & based on Heather's comments, I added a teaspoon of orange flavouring & some zest to the batter. Thanx ladypit!
