Hag Chef: these are sure light and delicate. I have always had a terrible time with biscuits being like hockey pucks. The only thing I would do differently is add less salt. too salty for us! Thanks a bunch. Judy In WA

This is now the only biscuits that my family will eat. will never buy can biscuits again. I reduced the sugar to 1 Tbsp and used 1 stick of butter. I patted the dough out and used a glass instead of a biscuit cutter and got 10 nice size biscuits.

These were the best biscuits I have ever made. I was interested since I had never had biscuits with that much sugar in them and also made with butter. They just had a hint of sweetness and were the most moist biscuits I have ever eaten. I usually find that most biscuits are a little dry...but not these. My dough was on the sticky side...but I didn't want to ruin the texture so instead of adding flour and rolling the dough to cut them out...I simply took a handfull of dough and patted it with my palm onto the cooky sheet. I would not make them in any other way...they made 9 nice large biscuits puffs. Terrific recipe!!!

I make biscuits like this — recipe is close to the same. Instead of bothering with a "biscuit cutter" for round biscuits I pat the dough out into a rectangle and cut them into squares. Delish.
