I made this as one of our Christmas desserts, I used whipped cream and added a few maraschino cherries for colour. Thanks for sharing.

I loved this. My mother used to make something similar, but without nuts. I never thought to put nuts in it, but I like it better this way. When we had rice for dinner, Mom made extra and she made this the next day. We called it Glorified Rice. Mom said the rice should be cold and not sticky when you mix it, so that's how I did it. It's just as good, maybe even better the next day. I absolutely will make this again. Next time I might sprinkle a few Maraschino cherries on top for color like my mother did. (resubmitting the review because the 5 stars didn't "take" the first time.)

This recipe was exactly what I was looking for to take to an Easter dinner. I substituted colored mini marshmallows for the regular ones. It made for a colorful presentation on our dinner table. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!

This was very nice and quick and easy to do. The combination of ingredients go really well together. I loved the pecans in the mixture!
