I also had problems with this dish - way too much flour. Having to add a lot more liquid, lost the flavor.

I cooked this for my DH and he loved it. I also found that there was too much flour but was it was easy to add a little more milk. Ive added it to My Recipes. Thanks for an excellent recipe.

I am afraid this did not work out properly for me, seemed to be far too much flour and the gravy was just like glue, had to add a lot of extra water and then it lost its flavour so added some tomato sauce and worcestershire sauce.

This had a good flavor even though I had some problems. I think the meat I used was way to lean and it required that I use more oil than called for. Next go I'll reduce the amount of flour when making the gravy. DH loved it, hence I'll make again.
