This is the cat's Meow! I know you are saying there are already a lot of recipes on this site for the same thing, I researched them before posting mine and this one is just a little different so here it is. Everyone I have ever served this to absolutely goes beserk over the taste and says it's as good as the real thing. It's so much cheaper too! I found this on an internet site, but can't remember which one, it was to long and to many fifths ago!! You can easily double the recipe.

SERVES 15 , 60 ounces (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In blender, combine all ingredients; blend until smooth.
  2. 2
Store tightly covered in refrigerator up to one month. (It won't last that long!) Shake bottle well before serving, and return remaining liqueur to refrigerator.
  3. 3
Note: Use only Grade A, uncracked eggs.

Maybe if I wasn't expecting the Bailey's flavor I would give 4 stars. I followed the recipe and used high quality Irish whiskey, so I don't think it was my ingredients that made it bad. The only change I made was whisking my eggs in a double boiler for a minute...eating raw eggs makes me uneasy. Maybe that changed the outcome, not sure. Thanks for the recipe, it's a good one just not what I was expecting.

YUM! YUM! YUM! I made this today. This recipe is awesome. My dad had a recipe close to this. I remember his recipe having a little of coconut extract so I added a 1/4 tsp. This turned out perfect. I also used Irish Whiskey which I had on hand. I will make this over and over.
