I almost made this recipe tonight ... I had toassted the sesame seeds and had everything else ready to go when I discovered that I was out of green beans. So I substituted a package of frozen stir fry vegetables, halveing the red pepper flakes andd adding a bit of sesame oil. It was quite good and went well with the Korean Pork Strips and brown rice. Now I think I should buy some green beans and try it again.

Spicy, crunchy and tasty. I halved the red pepper flakes and because they stick very well to the wet beans, we didn't miss a flake. Good thing I reduced the amount or they would have been too hot for us to handle. I recommend you add them gradually, tasting between additions.
