Outback Ranch Dressing

Recipe #70654 | 30 min | add private note

By: Brooke Alicia
Sep 5, 2003

This is my all time favorite ranch dressing and I found it at Outback. Each packet of the dressing mix hold approximately 3 tablespoons worth of mix so you can triple the recipe, or make it 3 separate times. This recipe goes great with Cheese Fries! (Prep time is chill time, but isn't necessary)

1 1/2 Cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Mix all of the ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. 2
Chill at least 1/2 hour before serving which is the key step to maximize flavor.
  3. 3
EDIT 4/15/2007: If you prefer a spicy, kicked up version of Outback Ranch Dressing, substitute cayenne pepper for the paprika - your spicy preferring taste buds will thank you.

This Ranch Dressing recipe is so YUMMY!!! I don't think I will ever buy a store bought brand of Ranch Dressing again!! I doubled this recipe and added Ceyenne for the extra kick. The flavor just gets better and better the longer it chills. THANK YOU A BUNCH for posting this recipe!!!...Brandi Lynn

I doubled this recipe and when I first tasted it, right after making it, I thought too mayonnaisy, just blah. I put it in a quart jar and stuck it in the fridge and after a few hours - WOW! When my husband tasted it, he went truffling through my kitchen, looking for stuff to dip in it. He actually, no kidding, started dipping bread in the jar. He put it on his hotdogs that night. We love this!

I am very picky about ranch dressing. When it's good I can eat it like soup! I hate the bottled stuff and usually base my opinion of a restaurant on the quality of their ranch. This was excellent. I used buttermilk and added 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed. I will look forward to my salads with this!
