I adopted this recipe from the Recipezaar account. Last summer, I prepared this recipe with a few changes (as stated in the comment section below) and really enjoyed it.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
On 4 large buttered squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil, place equal amounts of fish.
  2. 2

  3. 3
    Pour equal amounts over fish.
  4. 4
Sprinkle with paprika; top with onion slices.

YUM! Thank you for a great recipe..it was just what I was looking for today. AND my hubby (who is trying to eat healthier) loved it as well. I made tilapia just as you had it and it was perfectly flaky and not the least bit dry. I did melt the butter and added the dill, parsley and lemon juice but sprinkled the other seasonings right on top each piece of fish. Next time I think I will try some garlic and add a few halved grape tomatoes in my packet...yummy served with a side of angel hair pasta and olive oil!

Easy, moist and delicious! Everyone from my 15 month old son to my 83 year old grandfather loved it. I substituted fresh cilantro for the parsley, since that's all I had on hand, otherwise, made as is directed and it turned out perfectly.

It was an easy and quick dish to make after work. The next time I make it I will melt the butter with the lemon juice .. brush it on the fish and THEN sprinkle the seasonings on it. When you mix it all together with the butter it's hard to get enough of the seasonings brushed on the fish. It seemed to slip right off. Another alternative is to brush the fish with light mayo .. then sprinkle with seasonings.

I fixed this using catfish and butter and it was fabulous. It's almost a sin to be able to fix something so fast and easy and then taste that great. Thanks for posting this. A repeater for sure.
