Try other Cheddar Cheese Chicken with Bacon recipes

Husband and I quite enjoyed this dish! I flattened 3 large breasts and cut one in half for sandwiches later (maybe with a little dijon mustard on a soft roll). Also replaced the thyme & savory with a 1/2 tsp. of salt-free poultry seasoning and a whole egg instead of the white. I would consider finishing the dish under the broiler next time to brown a bit more because we like our cheesy goodness a little crispy! A definite keeper - thank you!

Lovely dish. I used 1/2 whole wheat panko crumbs & 1/2 parm cheese. I added a whole lot of different spices to the bread mix-garlic powder, onion powder, garlic salt, oregano-just tried to get in my favorite flavors! I used olive oil spray, turkey bacon & mozz cheese. I may serve some fat free ranch dressing on the side next time for dipping-just cuz that's what I like! Thank u for sharing this.

Yum! So easy to make and very good! I did make it a little different than directed. I made it in a skillet instead of the oven so that my starving hubby could eat a little sooner-it took about 10 minutes that way!(= Thanks for posting, Bekah! I'll definitely be making this one again!

This was delicious! I didn't have any savory so I just added more thyme. I fried my own bacon slices to make bacon bits which I believe really enhanced the taste and texture. The only thing I'll do differently next time is use smaller chicken breasts or pound out large ones. The chicken I used was too thick and the taste didn't quite carry through the whole piece. A definite "make again" recipe, however.
