What a wonderful recipe. I prepared it exactly as written, and it came out great. I'd probably play around with adding some herbs when I make it again, but it tastes great just as it is written. Thanks!

We had this delicious chicken with some fettuccine noodles with Marsala wine, cream cheese, half and half, butter, garlic and carmelized onions. It was an excellent choice and one I will certainly make again, and according to my DH it will be made soon! He just about licked his plate on this one

Wow, what a great chicken dish! Such a big reward for so very little effort. I did make one change, I added about a 1/2 teaspoon of crushed garlic to the cream cheese mixture. I have no idea why, just seemed like the thing to do! Oh, and I also added a little paprika for color. I served this with a pasta dish and a cherry tomato and green onion salad and DH asked if we had anymore chicken, although he had told me he wasn't that hungry. We ate every bite. This will become a regular...I would certainly prepare this for guests. Thanks for a great recipe! **Reposted because I forgot to add the stars!

We have made a similar recipe before but the chicken was rolled up - this was so much easier. I used Lite Cream Cheese with Chives and Onions spread thickly on each breast wrapped with center cut bacon. Delish! I worried it might "leak" because it was "lite" but it stayed just fine. I put the pan under the broiler for a few minutes at the end to crisp the bacon. This is the way I'll make it from now on. Very good!
