I love Pasta Fajioli but the recpie I have used was high in fat. This recipe was very good. I did make a couple of changes. I like to use ham instead if sausage. So I used some leftover smoked spiral ham. I also did not use the tomato paste at the end because the noodles absorb a lot of the juice and I was afraid it would be to dry. Next time I will add more broth because I prefer it soupy and the tomato paste. I look forward to making this again. It is a great winter meal!!

Very good family meal. I made a few minor changes to the recipe based on what I had on hand. I used dried lima beans, baby carrots and instead of Italian seaoning used 1/2 tsp basil and 1/2 tsp oregano. I also used garlic salt instead of regular salt — very good pasta dish that we all enjoyed. Thanks for sharing! We will be having this again soon.

Yummy! This was so good and so easy to make. I used a can of great northern beans instead of using dried beans that soak overnight and they tasted so good I think I would add more next time. I also used 1/2 teaspoon of oregano and 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil instead of 1 teaspoon of italian seasoning. I also added 1/2 cup of peas for color (I do that with everything.) I garnished with fresh basil which was very yummy. I will make this again and again. For garlic lovers, I'm sure a clove of crushed garlic would be an excellent addition. Thanks again!
