Great for picnics and barbecues. For a time-saver, you can buy your cabbage already shredded, just use a 12 oz. bag in place of the half-head.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Using a whisk, mix together mayo, milk, vinegar, mustard, and celery seed.

Excellent recipe! Only change I made was to add some frozen peas. I used the preshredded cole slaw. We loved it! Thanks for posting, Sue L! M. Joan

Yummy! Definately let it sit. I made this to go with dinner the other night and only let it sit for about an hour. We then ate the rest at lunch the next day and it was so much better!!! I bought a 16 oz package of cole slaw preshredded and that worked fine. I did leave out the red pepper, sorry, can't stand them. Thanks Sue!!

This is a delicious cole slaw recipe. I also used preshredded cole slaw and tossed it with the dressing. Very easy to make and one that is one of the best cream cole slaws I have tasted.
