Posted in response to a forum topic. I found this recipe on another website, but can't remember which one. This has become my favorite way to prepare corn on the cob.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Mix the butter, salt, pepper, parsley and rosemary in a small bowl.
  2. 2
Tear off one sheet of aluminum foil for each ear of corn (large enough to wrap the corn in).
  3. 3
Spread 1 T butter mixture on each ear of corn.
  4. 4
    Reserve the remaining butter mixture.
  5. 5
Place 1 ear of corn on each piece of foil.
  6. 6
    Roll up tightly.
  7. 7
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
  8. 8
Unwrap the foil and spread some of the remaining butter mixture on each ear of corn.

Totally destroyed the flavour of the corn. We could no longer taste the corn, it tasted like we were eating hay.

This was very nice and I enjoyed the flavors of the herbs. Easy to do. I took some with me to work and cooked it there! Easy cleanup too! Thanks!

This was pretty good but we didn't like the Rosemary with it. I may try it again with Basil. It was very easy though. An overall good recipe.

Dreamgoddess I LOVE YOU!!!!! I just ate the best ear of corn I have ever eaten. Now I will admit that I didn't cook the butter on the corn. I grilled the corn in the husks and then spread the butter on the ear when I went to eat it. I will keep some of this in the fridge at all times. Thanks for the great recipe!!!
