You can use any fresh fruit, but I think blackberries are the best. I've tried frozen fruit and it turns out a bit soggy.

SERVES 9 (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven 325.

    Melt the butter in the bottom of an 8x8 glass pan.
  3. 3
    In a large bowl combine the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT fruit.

    Pour batter into pan.

    Place fruit on top.

    Bake for 1 hour.
