I wanted to update my review. I have been making it (up until 2night) with the addition of toasted Italian bread crumbs and love the flavor. I do find I need a little extra sauce however because the bread crumb soaks some of it up. 2night I needed to make this weight watchers friendly so I used whole wheat spaghetti, left out my bread crumbs (I always leave out the pepper flakes) and added baby spinach. I just put a bunch of spinach in my colander and poured the pasta in to drain. The hot pasta cooked the spinach perfectly they I poured it all back in the pot and tossed with the sauce. The only other thing I did different was to add a squeeze of lemon juice to my serving. I think the lemon is lovely and adds a nice touch. My kids love this recipe both ways. I upped my star rating to 5 from 4 because its easy to make, taste good, my kids request it often and its open to so many variations (next time I'm going to try arugula and when the tomatoes come in I will try adding them too). Thanks for posting this wonderful stand by.

This recipe is sooo good! The only change we made was to use thin spagetti instead of linguine. Next time I will follow kim127 directions and add more clams. I just can not rave enough about how good this is. Fed 4 hungry guys and one hungry girl Thanks for the cheap and easy meal!!

This was really good! I added an extra can of clams, a little lemon juice and lemon zest. It is so quick to make and everyone loved it. So, I will definitely make this again!
