I wanted a quick dinner and this was super yummy. After reading the other reviews I did some tweaking. I browned my chicken first. And added dry sherry, terriaki sauce, water, and a little cornstarch to the sauce. I used half the sugar also. I baked at 425 for 25 minutes and it was soooo tender, juicy and wonderful. My husband loved it and so did my son Liam (18 months). I served it with steamed broccoli and my special Parmasean Rice (day old rice re-vamped with pepper and parmasean). It was a great meal. Thanks for the post. This is a great quick recipe that is easy to memorize and easy to tweak for different flavors.

I added maybe 1/4 cup of chicken broth, a dash of cayenne, and 1/2 tsp of curry powder, then added the chicken to the saute pan to let it brown (be careful that the sauce doesn't spatter). lined my casserole with foil AND covered loosely with foil to prevent the sugar from burning. my husband loved it! we'll have this again.

Easy and tasty. Even easier clean-up by lining baking dish with tinfoil. Great
