This recipe came from a package of ground turkey. It is by far the best turkey meatloaf I have ever tasted.

made this last night for me and the bf...turned out great! There was just enough left for him to have leftovers for his lunch today! I think the key is that the onions and garlic are cooked beforehand...and the Worcestershire sauce definitely adds a nice little kick. As other reviews stated, I didn't use all of the ketchup on the top of the meatloaf...but next time I just might use a little more...my bf commented on how much he liked that addition. great great flavor...will be making again.

Thank you! I liked this very much. After some experimentation, I discovered substituting cooked whole grain brown rice for the cracker crumbs improved the texture immeasurably and also added more food value. I also added 4 oz. mushrooms (canned, but fresh could also be used) and 1/2 of a green pepper (diced) to the onion mixture. I very much like the Barbeque sauce in lieu of catsup, as well.

My husband doesn't like ground turkey, but this meatloaf is the ONE exception. The consistency is fantastic - it stays together perfectly and has a wonderful flavor. I tried using just one pound of turkey and it worked fine, I just added a few more breadcrumbs (saltines). I don't usually add much ketchup on top, just a little for color. Thanks so much for this recipe - it's saved me on many busy nights!

I made this recipe into meatballs to go with spaghetti, and my husband, who doesn't normally like meatballs, raved about how wonderful they were!! He said they were the best meatballs he has ever tasted. And I agree! This recipe is a keeper. I'll be making it often from now on, both as "meatloaf meatballs", and as meatloaf. Thanks for a great recipe!!
