Ingredients

Filling

Directions

  1. 1
Place all ingredients in your machine in order recommended by your machine's manufacturer.
  2. 2
Place the pan in your machine.
  3. 3
Select the dough cycle and press start.
  4. 4
When cycle is finished, remove the dough, knead enough to punch down and roll to 17X10.
  5. 5
Combine first three filling ingredients and mix well.
  6. 6
Heat in microwave 10 seconds to make it spreadable.
  7. 7
Spread over rolled out dough with rubber spatula.
  8. 8
Get as close to the edges as possible.
  9. 9
Sprinkle nuts or raisins over dough.
  10. 10
Starting with widest end, roll the dough into tight log.
  11. 11
    Cut into 1/2-1" slices.
  12. 12
Place in a lightly greased baking dish with sides.
  13. 13
Put in warm draft free place and allow them to raise until double.
  14. 14
(I turn my oven on warm and place them inside. When the temperature light goes off, turn off the oven. I let them rise 20-30 minutes this way. Take out to heat oven to baking temp.) Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
  15. 15
When the rolls are done top with frosting of your choice.
  16. 16
Note: For a real treat replace raisins in the filling with chopped dried cherries, blueberries or strawberries.
  17. 17
    Yield: A full 9x13 pan.

I LOVE cinnabons! I have made these twice now. The first time was a flop, they were really dense. I was determined to get it right. So, the second time I made some changes... waited for all ingredients to be room temperature, used 2 eggs instead of 1, and used only 1/2 box vanilla pudding. This time they ROCKED! Thank you for sharing.

This ia my standard recipe for cinnamon rolls now. I've done it a few times now. Tender, just the right sweetness and rather large.

Excellent cinnamon buns. The only change I made to these were to add about 1/2 cup raisins to the dough after the first beep. I used a cream cheese frosting on these. I would suggest using a larger pan to bake these in. They were really crammed in my 9x13 pan. The center rolls were a bit underdone. Thanks Paula&Matt.

Great recipe for making when you are busy. I didn't have any vanilla pudding so I used Cheesecake instant puccding instead & they still taste great. Nice dough to work with. Not very sticky at all! Also the oven trick for the second raising worked great!
