I was so happy to see this drink (which is native to my country) on here! As a family, we drink this whenever we can get our hands on a good watermelon..we ARE in Seattle! However, during the summer there is nothing more refreshing!

I am full Tongan!! And OMG!! No way!! I love 'Otai!! It is the most refreshing drink ever!! Great stuff!! Instead of cream you can substitute it for milk and in my opinion watermeleon is the best version of 'Otai!! You could even crack out the water bicuits or breakfast crackers and just breaking that into the drink adds more dimension!! BEAUTIFUL!!

I am half Tongan myself living in NZ and Otai is definitely one of my favourite Polynesian drinks! My dad makes this stuff every now and then when he comes back to visit NZ and we just absolutely love it! Good stuff! =D
