Disney's French Toast

This Stuff is killer good, and if you follow the whole recipe you'll probably have leftovers. Not to worry, freezes well. This is not every day eating, but enjoy it when you can.

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

    Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.

    Mix coating in a smaller bowl.
  3. 3
    Dip bread into first mixture and fry in vegetable oil on the stove (enough to cover the bottom of the pan really well may have to use more oil depending on how many you make).

    When golden brown, Remove, pat with paper towel to remove excess oil.
  5. 5
    Sprinkle bread with coating.
  6. 6
    To Freeze: Cool and then store in ziplock freezer bags. To reheat: We just put one piece in the microwave at a time for about 30 seconds per side until heated through.

    Excellent! The three kids and hubby all loved it. We will be making this again. We went a little lighter on the syrup than usual. Thanks for a great recipe!

    YUMMY in our tummy! Thanks for this great recipe. We didn't have Texas Toast, and it was great. We will try it next time. This is my new and final go to for french toast!

    Wonderful! Go ahead and make the whole batch, you'll be happy to have some to freeze for later. Hint, if you have cinnamon sugar already handy, just use that to save a step in the coating. A keeper! TY
