This is a recipe given to me by a friend at work. Every time we have a lunch at work, we want her to bring this dish. Can be eaten as a congealed salad or as a dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) carton Cool Whip
  • cups miniature marshmallow
  • cup chopped pecan
  • 1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • can cherry pie filling
  • can condensed milk
  • Directions

      Stir all ingredients together and refrigerate.

    I love this salad. I only had a 8 oz. container of cool whip, so I only used 2/3 of the sweetened condensed milk. I omitted the pecans (personal preference). I like the salad much better after letting it set over night. Such a pretty salad. I think it would be beautiful on Valentines Day also.

    Yumeeeee!!! what an easy and wonderful dessert to throw together on a busy day! I used sweetened crushed pineapple which made it a bit too sweet, so next time I will use unsweetened instead. I served this in 4 dessert cups, my DH and DS really loved it, it was delicious! Thanks for posting.....Kittencal
