We don't use plain cinnamon in our house since we have found this. We love it and think you will also.

    1. 1
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients.
    2. 2
Store in an air tight container.
    3. 3
Use this mix in recipes that call for the ingredients above.
    4. 4
I substitute this for all of my cinnamon needs.
    5. 5
If a recipe calls for the spices add up all of the measurments and just put in the same amount of this blend.
    6. 6
It tastes great used in cinnamon and sugar for toast and in cinnamon rolls.

I used a microplane zester to zest an organic orange, then used the dehydrate setting on my Kitchenaid oven for about 45 minutes to dry the orange zest. I haven't seen it in the spice section of any stores here.

Dayla...I have used the Pampered Chef Cinnamon Spice for awhile, loved it, but expensive...this copy cat recipe is excellent!!! Tastes the same, but much cheaper! I have used it today on a coffee cake and as a streusel topping on cupcakes. Thanks, so much! It's so much better than cinnamon!

I have never tried the Pampered Chef spice but I have to say this is an awesome spice combo! I have made this a few times now and it doesn't take long for it to disappear! The first time I made it I used the orange peel but the rest of my family seems to prefer it without. I have also used this recipe to create the most delicious cinnamon buns ever. (A really fast method is to make Tasty Buns Tasty Buns, roll out, sprinkle with brown sugar, top with this baking spice, roll up, cut and bake. Ready to eat in about an hour!) Thanks for posting!
