4.5 Calorie Iced Coffee

Recipe #36320 | 5 min | 5 min prep | add private note

By: Jim jimmers
Aug 5, 2002

Well being that I don't like to drink calorie filled drinks (calories I'd much rather spend on food!) I always try to experiment with low calorie drinks. So one day I came up with this. Tastes great! Add more or less coffee or equal to taste but I find this to be optimal. Oh by the way the 4.5 calories is from the coffee mix.

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Put the coffee and equal into a blender.
  2. 2
Add the ice then the water to the blender.
  3. 3
Thouroughly blend the ice until it has the consistency of sludge
  4. 4
Be sure to stop blending frequently and mix the top ice to the bottom.
  5. 5
When thourougly blended spoon out of the blender (because pouring usually ends in a horrible mess) and enjoy.

I make this all the time, haha in fact I'm drinking it now. As an added bonus I put a tsp of cocoa powder and more water and equal. Tastes great!
