Hog wash! The Amish use whipped cream and this Cool Whip recipe has not been handed down for generations, as claimed.

Very easy to make & delicious to boot. I dressed up a yellow cake (from a mix) with strawberry filling and this frosting. It was a perfect frosting--not too rich, yet creamy and yummy!

This was very nice, and very easy to make. Actually it was creamy, yet the cream cheese gave it more density. I used it on a sheet cake. What can I say? A perfect ending that no one could resist. Thanks for sharing you MIL's recipe.
