I only had Macs and I chunked them with skins and cooked them in a heavy pan until they were soft. I put in some sugar and cinnamon and the whole house smelled sooooo good! My kids help run them thru the food mill and were so proud of all the compliments they got on their delicious applesauce. A keeper!

This was very easy and so good. I used Jonagold apples. I just sprinkled cinnamon on top and added about 1/4 cup of sugar. Thanks so easy and good. I also have an apple peeler, which saved me hours. It is made by Back to Basics and it is fantastic!

This is so good. I used Winesap apples, straight from the orchard, peeled and cut in chunks. I covered with water, and cooked in a large pan, I needed to get them done within a few hours. I didn't need to add any sugar, they were perfect!!! Thanks!
