At fisrt i was kind of skeptical, but once i tasted it it was AMAZING! Even my meat loving boyfriend said they were great. Normally i go spice crazy, but i never needed too- i used yellow rice and skipped the parsley. Simply delicious. =]

Excellent recipe! These are so much better than store bought patties. The recipe is very forgiving - I didn't have stuffing mix and added extra rice and oats plus some flax seed and it still tasted great. I've also subbed cracker crumbs for the stuffing. The addition of mushrooms is also great!

This is much better and more filling than the veggie burgers you buy at the health food store. (And lower in fat too). I actually used 1/2 cup of chickpeas and 1/2 cup of black beans. But that was the only difference. All you vegetarians out there, this should be a staple if your cookbook!
