This is slightly crunchy and tastes superb. This is another favorite that everyone asks for.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Wash and string green beans; dry.
  2. 2
Melt butter in a sauté pan; add the lemon juice and garlic.
  3. 3
Add the green beans and salt and pepper. Cook over medium-low heat until almost tender.
  4. 4
You can cover if desired, but don't cook until mushy unless you like your green beans that way.
  5. 5
    Remove from pan and serve.
  6. 6
Note: You can substitute fresh asparagus for the beans.
  7. 7
    Very good.

I was looking for a recipe with some Asian flare but not too extravagant(my family is from Singapore so I wanted something different yet still appealing to our tastebuds).Turned out great. So simple and so tasty. I used long beans to make it more authentic.
