Ooooh, I love this recipe! Thank you for posting it. It is very easy to make and so delicious! I had only one large tomato and some red onion, which worked nicely. After the initial taste, I added a bit more of the spices, along with some ground coriander, and the remainder of the cucumber. It was so good that I could barely stop eating it! I can't wait to make it again and again!

This was really good!Very refreshing, especially in the summer. I didn't have a cucumber, so my raita had tomatoes, a carrot, onion and cilantro. I finely chopped the onion, and soaked it in a bowl of chilled water mixed with lemon juice for about an hour, then drained it and added it to the raita. That got rid of the strong smell that goes with raw onions. Thanks for the great recipe!

Excellent recipe!!! I used full fat yogurt and didn't drain the cucumber, so it wasn't too thick. I didn't have any tomatos so I used grated carrot instead, which was nice. Next time I will add the tomatos as well as the carrots. I needed the rita right away so I didn't let it sit and it still had excellent flavor. Next time I will make sure I have time to let it sit so I can experience the full flavor. When the food was all gone my son and I ate the rest of it straight out of the bowl!! I will be making this rita recipe from now on. Thanks Mini R.

We love Raita, and the addition of chile powder was very nice. The only thing I did differently was to chop my cucumber into small bits instead of grating, just as a personal preference, and allowed some of the moisture to drain out a bit in a paper towel. mixed all ingredients and allowed it to sit for about 45 mins. Garnished with cilantro and served with vegetable biryani
thanks for the recipe!!!!
