Try other Asparagus Guacamole recipes

DH commented that it doesn't have the creaminess he is used to, but I said that that lack of creaminess is actually the lack of fat the the regular avocado guacamoles have... (good since we are trying to eat healthier) and that he should think of it as gaining a new fresh taste and not as 'missing' the avacado. He only kind-of agreed. Pro's for this recipe, definiately the less fat aspect and the freshness of the taste, con: Green asparagus is not the "normal' one we find here in NL... White is, Green costs a lot more, so if I were on a tighter budget I would have a tougher time to justify this recipe.(in my view Green has more flavour than the White variety) All in all our oninions were really quite divided... moi? I'd make this again and would have given it 4 stars, DH and SiL both voted 3 so I'm outvoted. Please see my somewhat tougher rating system: a 3 from me certainly isn't any disaster, and I WILL make this again, Thanks for a great recipe

Very tasty and a big score on having less fat than avocados. I had fun making my dining companions guess what the green ingredient was. No one did! I served it warm with pita chips Pita Chips.

I made this exactly as written & it was very easy. It's definitely for an asparagus lover (I am 1 btw), but I missed the delicate avocado flavor & prob would prefer using lime vs lemon juice. After taking a pic I hope turns out well, I added chopped baby shrimp & mixed Mex cheeses. This "new" mix made a great wrap! Thx for posting!

This was a nice surprise served with chips before dinner. Everyone was amazed that asparagus would make a nice guacamole. I imagine we'll be having this again. (: Thanks for posting, Sharon.
