This is a recipe that my paternal grandmother made when I was a kid that was top on my list. Mom would ask what I wanted and this was always on the first things I said.

SERVES 5 (change servings and units)

    Mix ingredients in skillet.
  2. 2
    Do NOT saute' or cook veggies first or you will get mush.
  3. 3
    Season with seasoning salt or salt and pepper to taste.
  4. 4
    Cover, and leave on highheat until food begins to steam and you see steam coming out from under the lid.
  5. 5
    Turn off heat and leave on burner for 1 hours.
  6. 6
    Do not lift cover during cooking period.
