From Company's Coming. Great on pancakes or ice cream!

SERVES 4 , 2 half pints (change servings and units)

    Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.

    Heat and stir on medium high until it boils.
  3. 3
    Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

    Strain.

    Pour into 2 hot sterilized half pint jars, diving evenly.
  6. 6
    Add boiling water if needed to fill within 1/4 inch of top. Place sterilized metal lids on jars and screw metal bands on securely. For added assurance against spoilage, you may choose to process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
