Fried Mushrooms

These fried mushrooms will always be crispy due to the panko (japanese) breadcrumbs.

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

    Heat enough oil to have two inches of depth heat to about 350 degrees.

    Mix Flour and garlic salt together.
  3. 3
    Add milk and egg and stir to combine.
  4. 4
    Make another bowl with a shallow bed of panko (add more as needed).
  5. 5
    Dip mushrooms into batter and then into panko, sprinkling additional panko on top of mushroom and pressing lightly.

    Drop into oil and cook until golden brown.
