Not-So-Spicy Blackberry Barbecue Sauce

Recipe #325418 | 55 min | 15 min prep | add private note

By: Chef #252784
Sep 16, 2008

We tried the other Blackberry Barbecue Sauce (#263041) recipe listed by Animate Me. We liked the blend of flavors, but found it too spicy for our taste. So, we made a few adjustments to tame it down for our tastes.

3 1/2 pints (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine all the above ingredients in a large saucepan.
  2. 2
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer.

Cook uncovered until desired consistency (about 40 minutes).
  4. 4
    Strain the sauce.
