I know I went overboard with the concoction I came up with when making this recipe but I DID enjoy it! Made the waffles as indicated, & they turned out just fine! Then I topped them off with both a homemade strawberry sauce AND a drizzle of homemade fudge sauce! Could not have been more satisfying! Many thanks! Reviewed for Australian NZ Forum October 08 Recipe Swap I've given this recipe 3 stars as the batter was way to thick to spread in my waffle maker. I ended up adding another egg and more milk. In all fairness though, I did use gluten-free flour and this sometimes does require more liquids than gluten containing all purpose flour. I thought that they would taste more chocolatey- I think some choc chips thrown into the batter or some melted chocolate might make these waffles even tastier
