This stuff is wonderful! Very economical and perfect for people with sensitive skin/allergies or those who wish to "go green," and it really works! Soap flakes are often available at craft stores. Use whatever essential oils you like. Lavender, orange, lemon, and grapefruit are really nice for laundry. Recipe from one of my husband's classmates.

This is fabulous. I was looking for a dry recipe as I have made the liquid kind for some time and it's alittle messy for me. I made a small amount of this 3 cups borax, 3 cups baking soda, 1 bar cruelty free glycerine soap that I grated and no essential oils. I also added 3 cups washing soda but am not sure that's ecologically friendly. This was great. So soft you would think there was fab softener. I will definitely make again trying the castile soap. It even cleaned clay encrusted shoes and jeans.
