"creamsicle" Smoothie

Recipe #316470 | 15 min | 15 min prep | add private note

By: RawFoodNut
Jul 29, 2008

We named this smoothie the "creamsicle" smoothie, because to us, it's tastes just like a creamsicle. So good!

SERVES 3 -4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Peel mangos and remove as much flesh around pit as you can.
  2. 2
Peel oranges. If you have a good blender, don't worry about the orange seeds, they'll get blended up just fine, as well as the vanilla bean.
  3. 3
Put all ingrendients in blender, blend to desired consistency and consume!
  4. 4
    Makes 3 large servings.

Very tasty! I used 1 mango, 1 orange, a splash of vanilla, some frozen strawberries, and a little water to get the blender going. It was very nice and my 1yo loved it too! Reviewed for Healthy Choices ABC tag.

Used large frozen strawberries (& left out the ice) in this recipe & also used 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract instead of the 'couldn't-conviently-find' vanilla bean! VERY, VERY NICE SMOOTIE!
