The Tartar Sauce

Recipe #31635 | 5 min | 5 min prep | add private note

By: Lottidawe
Jun 20, 2002

If you have always loved the tartar sauce you get at a fish and chips place, you'll love this one. I tinkered around with it over time and I think this one is pretty darn close! It's my favorite and only takes 5 minutes to whip up!

SERVES 10 (change servings and units)

  2. 2

This is very tasty! I was out of tarragon so I used a little thyme and some parsley. Very Good.

Very fast and totally different from my usual tarter sauce. I was unsure about adding 1 T of dry mustard or an equal amount of French's so only used 1/2 t of dry. It had a nice kick without being overpowering. I really liked the addition of tarragon. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
