I love this recipe because it is so quick, easy, and no mess to clean up. It's especially good when you have several kids over for breakfast, you can make the ingredients the night before. They can make their own. They turn out perfect every time! Good for campers too.

SERVES 2 , 2 omelets (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Place eggs, milk, salt & pepper in ziplock bag. Zip shut and shake until well mixed.
  2. 2
Open ziplock bag and put in whatever you feel like having. There are any number of things that you can add to my personal favorite.
  3. 3
With a marker, write each person's name on the outside of the bag.
  4. 4
Bring a pot of water to boiling point on stove.
  5. 5
Drop bags in boiling water and boil for 13 minutes ONLY.
  6. 6
    Remove from water with tongs.
  7. 7
Open bag and slide omelet onto plate.
  8. 8
Add toast and juice and you've got a hearty breakfast or brunch.

Very good and easy recipe/idea. It definitely helps to cut the time for a good breakfast for the family. I found that the boiling time was just too long of a wait for my family of 6 so I ended up throwing it in a pan but all in all I am planning on doing this again. I just will use the pan method instead of boiling. It helps to cut down on prep time in the mornings and thats what I love! Thank you so much.
