Sesame Salad Dressing

Recipe #315272 | 10 min | 10 min prep | add private note

This has been my favourite salad dressing for quite some time. It's just so tasty. I keep coming back to this recipe, it's a staple for me. Lots of good for you ingredients if you get them raw, and I look forward to my salads when I have this dressing made up, or the ingredients to whip up a batch! I always feel great after eating it.

2 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine first 5 ingredients in blender or food processor until garlic is well blended.
  2. 2
Add tahini and blend/process on slow speed until mixed through.
  3. 3
Note: If you pour a good amount of this dressing on your salad, mix it in well, and let it sit for a while, it's an amazing taste/texture sensation. It soaks in to the lettuce really well, makes it tender, and well, you won't know until you try it! :).

This came out thick and very airy. Tart!!! I used braggs but went lite on it. It does cling to the salad! Thanks!!!

There are times when I really do give up on salad dressings, & then along comes a recipe for one like this! Used two ingredients I don't usually have around, but perhaps now I will keep them on hand! Thanks for a VERY NICE TASTING DRESSING & a keeper of a recipe! Excellent! Very easy, very clean flavors, good balance. I used shoyu, will try the Bragg's next time. I first tried this on a very delicate baby green mix, and it was great, next on a sturdier mesclun, and was even happier. Thanks for this one!
