My mom has been making this since I was younger and I think it is such a fun snack! She used to keep it in a big, clear, glass cookie jar because it is so pretty! Guaranteed to be loved by adults and children!

Omg! This is so yummy! We can't get red-hot candies here, but even without, it's just great! I have left a bowl on my table for people to nibble on, and have had to refill it twice already! [Made for Fall PAC 2008]

    I've been making this treat for years (thought it was my own recipe - lol) using salted peanuts (love salt and sweet mixed together) but without the addition of the red-hots. I love red-hots so I'm going to add them next time.
