This is a winner for me. I have oatmeal almost every morning and I use peanut butter to supply the protein. By mixing it into the cereal I can skip the toast and it's added carbs :D. The only thing I did differently was to add the peanut butter to the empty bowl and then top with the oatmeal (and a Tbsp of oat bran which I always do) and water then micro it all for 1min 20secs, I added some Splenda and stirred it up and sprinkled a touch of cinnamon on top. It's a real yumm and very healthy.

The peanut butter really adds a nice flavor to plain oat meal. Mine did get rather sticky, though. I added a bit of skim milk and a dallop of grape jam to moisten it up. So it became "peanut butter and jelly" oatmeal...... a cute hot cereal for kids! Thanx for sharing.
