Easy Banana Peach Smoothie

Recipe #311951 | 8 min | 5 min prep | add private note

By: healthnut in college
Jul 4, 2008

super simple, common ingredients, just throw it in the blender

SERVES 2 , 2 medium glasses (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Throw all ingredients in the blender and mix it up to desired thickness. Add ice cubes if you want it to be thicker.
  2. 2
If you don't have a peach, try peach nonfat yogurt in addition to the plain yogurt. Danon Light and Fit brand is great for those watching their figures. (Only 60 calories per serving!).
  3. 3
If using fresh fruit, it would probably be best if you added a few ice cubes for a quicker chilling process and a better consistency.

Finally got my DD to try a smoothie with this recipe! Great way to get great nutrition into my kids. I used canned peaches and Greek Yogurt. We loved the slight taste of oj too. Made this for Fall PAC '08. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely smoothie. I skipped the oj because I have recently tried a very similar recipe and found that I didn't care for the orange juice in it. I upped the yogurt amount and used a whole banana in this. Yumm :D
