What a wonderful surprise! I really wasn't sold on the idea that Green Beans can be paired with BBQ and taste great. What got me was the key phrase of you toddler eating it, so I HAD to try; and what a fantastic surprise! My kid can't get over the color green yet, but I love it! The best part, it's simplicity and it didn't take me the 20 minutes at all to prep. I chopped the onions and bacon together put them in the skillet. Meanwhile, I washed my beans (I used 2lbs fresh) put them in my crock pot along with my katsup and Brown sugar. I was done was before my bacon and onions were! No time at all. For the fresh green beans I actually had to cook them 4 hours on high. Thanks so much for posting!
