Boy did I surprise my parents by making this dish! While my parents and my DH talked I whipped this up in no time, through it in the oven and Bam it was done. The apples were done and the flavor was so good. Would not change a thing, 10 stars! On one dish i chose to put recipe French Vanilla Ice Cream

I baked this in 4 ramekins. (I adjusted the servings to 4 and used 2 fuji apples.) I used pure maple syrup and it worked out to slightly more than 1 US tablespoon per ramekin. This smelled very sweet in the oven and baked for about 20 minutes. I was wondering how much the maple taste would come through, but it's just a hint of maple flavor. We liked this, but I would probably prefer it with a bit more cinnamon. I'd definitely make this again. Made for ZWT4: Canada.
