We really enjoyed this pie, it was just delicious! It reminded me of a pumpkin pie in texture and spice as well, and I think it would be a great addition to a Thanksgiving dessert table. Not having alot of added sugar was very nice too, thanks for sharing this Made this for ZWT4 for the ChicChefs.

I followed this recipe to a "T" and actually used CraftScouts advice and didn't pull it out early. I too was unsure of how the texture of the pie was supposed to be. (Thanks Craft) This turned out to be pretty good! My toddler didn't care for it but my parents really liked it! My husband and I were a bit undecided in the end. Served with Vanilla ice cream as recipe suggests and was overall a good recipe. Thanks for posting!

This was really simple to make and tasted great too. It's like a banana custard pie. I used a graham cracker crust and it was perfect for the pie. I ended up cooking mine for 45 mins. Reviewed for ZWT4

I'm really sorry, but I really had problems making this. I wasn't sure if this would be like a custard based pie (which should be a little wobbly when it comes out) or something more solid, so I pulled it after 30 minutes. This was a mistake, as it was not cooked all the way though at all. I had to re-bake it (which made it look awful and burned most of the exposed pie shell). It expanded upward and then finally was cooked so that it didn't jiggle. After it cooled, we tried it out. Most of the family thought it tasted really good, as chefsharp said, like a pumpkin pie but with banana. The texture really threw me off. I am glad I tried this, though, as the next time I see a similar recipe I will know what to expect. Thank you for posting, made for ZWT4.
