This is a combination of two recipes from the June/July issue of "Light & Tasty" magazine. I have been experimenting with different ways to cook salmon. This is the one I will use from now on......my family just loved it!!!

Very flavorful, not too spicy.

This was excellent. I doubled the brown sugar, because we like rubs on the sweeter side, and it was perfect. This is definitely a keeper! Thanks for posting it!

This was every bit as good as everybody says. I cooked the salmon on the grill exactly as suggested in the recipe and it was perfect. I did add a spice rub to my salmon (Whole Foods Teguila-Cilantro mix) , but everything else was to recipe. This sauce would be good on chicken and other seafood. Thanks for posting.

We enjoyed this salmon. It is spicy, but not too spicy (dd would dissent, but the parents both agree). I had the sesame oil, but agree that plain olive oil would probably work just as well. There was no noticeable sesame flavor, though it may have added something subtle to the mixture of flavors. I was out of thyme, so left that out.
