I found this on-line and it is a recipe adapted from The African Hut Cookbook.
SERVES 4 -6
Ingredients
- 3 lbs chicken pieces
- 1 large onion, Sliced
- 1 large tomato, Sliced
- 1 ounce French onion soup mix (1 packet)
- 2 liters Coke
Directions

Brown chicken in a little oil on all sides. Place in glass baking dish. Sprinkle soup mix over the chicken. Arrange onion and tomato slices over the top. Pour in coke and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serve with rice.
