This is one of my mothers recipes. I make it now that I am on my own. Its very simple. Definitely a comfort food.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Chop and peel the potatoes.
  2. 2
    Put in pot and cover with water.
  3. 3
    Bring to boil and cook until tender.
  4. 4
    While the potatoes are cooking brown the ground beef with the onions.
  5. 5
    Once tender drain the potatoes and put into a casserole dish.
  6. 6
    Add the ground beef and onions and mix it all together.
  7. 7
    Place the biscuits on top and bake until biscuits are golden brown.
  8. 8
    Smother with white gravy.
