Nannie was sure onto something! We loved these. They are great with a cold beer--I guess you could serve any drink, but with beer, it's just the right crunch and saltiness. Also, next time, I'm going to add at least 1 T more of hot sauce. They just need a little more kick for our tastes. For kids, omit the hot sauce. Thanks, Fat Man, for a great snack, and kudos to Nannie!

These are really tasty. I served them as "quacker crackers" for my son's barnyard birthday party. Next time I make them I won't add any seasoning salt as I didn't think they needed anything added at the end of baking. I also bought 2 different brands of oyster crackers, which made the presentation more interesting. Great snack!
