This beautiful and refreshing drink is posted for the ZWT4 Italy.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    In a blender, reduce in a creamy puree the strawberries, lime juice, sugar and rum.
  2. 2
    Strain in a fine sieve.
  3. 3
    Distribute the drink in 4 flutes and fill with prosecco sparkliing wine. You can garnish with a strawberry or a lime slice.

Excellent. I used fresh berries, did strain, and enjoyed very much indeed. *Note to self: must try with the suggested Amaretto :D

    What a delightful treat! I used frozen raspberries and this made for a nice cool drink. A great end to the day. Sweet but not too sweet. Another one for the permanent recipe box. Thanks France!
